Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential and commercial clients are well taken care of and their homes/businesses maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional housekeeping services where attention to detail is required. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor areas when applicable. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively. Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and polishing. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and supplies, ensuring all equipment is in good working order for efficient use. Follow time management practices to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards. Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain sanitation protocols throughout the property. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning, commercial, property management cleanings, vacation rentals, and/or housekeeping roles with janitorial or custodial background preferred. Flexible for taking on last minute jobs on occasion. Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards for various surfaces and materials. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and other tools used in housekeeping. Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely and effectively while following safety guidelines. Physical stamina to bend over, stoop, kneel, standing for extended periods, repetitive arm and shoulder moving, and climbing a step stool. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Experience in floor care techniques including mopping, sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day. Housekeeping management skills are desirable for coordinating multiple cleaning assignments or supervising other team members when applicable.
