Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hospitality spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to company standards and health regulations to promote safety and hygiene. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces safe and appealing. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents for various surfaces while practicing manual handling safety protocols for heavy lifting and outdoor work. Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning tasks within designated schedules without compromising quality. Communicate professionally with clients or residents to address specific cleaning needs or concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial services. Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards, surface cleaning techniques, floor care, carpet cleaning, and equipment operation. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning supplies. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary. Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents. Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
