Job Summary Village Health Care in Gresham, Oregon is seeking a Housekeeper to perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain resident's rooms and common areas of the community. You will be responsible for ensuring cleaning schedules are followed, coordinating daily housekeeping services with nursing services, and adhering to sanitary/safety rules and regulations.
Essential Functions:
Follows and completes cleaning schedules Observes proper infection control standards Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness Maintains equipment used in performing duties Observing precautions required to protect resident property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations. Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to relate positively and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other employees. Has compassion and special interest in working with the senior population.
