JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Room Attendant is to maintain and clean guestrooms and Flats to Atticus Hotel standards while complying with safety/security procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Housekeeping Operations:
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Atticus hotel standards, as required by scheduling, which may vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working. Comply at all times with Atticus Hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Thoroughly clean and restock rooms during an 8 hour shift. Complete all pre-clean duties including but not limited to guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set up. Remove all trash and dirty linen from all guestrooms assigned. Keep all hallways, public areas and closets neat and clean. Prepare housekeeping cleaning cart for the next days use. Report all guest borrowed items to the housekeeping supervisor for safe return back to the department. Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to the housekeeping supervisor. Report any Lost & Found items immediately to the housekeeping supervisor. Follow all procedures as outlined by the housekeeping supervisor. Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must work well in stressful, high pressure, & time-sensitive, situations. Be knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situations. Must have the ability to work various hours and shifts per week, with an average of 40+ hours per week. Other hotel-related duties as required.Job Type:
