Room Attendant

Sojourn Suites (soon to be Hyatt House and Mindaro by JDV) is currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our growing team! As our Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned guest rooms/suites according to the standards established by the hotel.

Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting, brushing and polishing floors and furniture in the rooms Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items Making beds Removing used and replacing guest room amenities as necessary Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other available amenities Reporting all room maintenance items to supervisor

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months - 1 year related experience and/or training Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers Ability to print and speak simple sentences Basic math skills
