Job Description

Hilltop Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping / Floor Care Aide to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring all housekeeping and floor care duties are completed according to facility standards. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces. Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials. Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas. Perform routine floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Operate housekeeping and floor care equipment safely and efficiently. Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning needs. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate department. Interact with residents, families, and staff in a courteous and professional manner. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or floor care experience preferred, but not required. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and floor care machinery or willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
