The Hearth at Drexel is a premier retirement community in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We take pride in our dedicated team members who support and care for our residents.
Shift/Schedule Available:
Full-Time 8:00am-4:00pm including every other weekend Some job responsibilities include: Maintain the upkeep of the community through floor cleaning, trash removal, and movement of furniture and supplies. Dry mop and wet mop floors. Operate buffer for cleaning, polishing, and shampooing floors and/or carpets. Move furniture in assigned areas, as requested by Manager. Turn and move mattresses to assist housekeeping, as requested by Manager. Hang draperies and cubicle curtains in residences and public areas when scheduled by the Manager. Gather and dispose of trash; responsible for keeping the compactor area free from debris. Clean fire towers in assigned buildings on a scheduled basis.Driver Duties:
Daily physical check on vehicles driven and record on checklist form. Alert Manager if any malfunctions are suspected. Deliver vehicles for inspections and repair. Assist residents in/out of vehicles who have special requirements. Assist residents to reception desk at medical facilities as necessary. Provide medical establishments with telephone number to The Hearth for residents' transportation back to The Hearth. Complete billing form for medical transportation indicating total charge to resident for mileage and have billing form signed.Education and Experience:
