Laundry Aide and Houseperson

You'll join our growing Comfort culture as we train you with all the right skills to give our guests the cleanest, coziest night's rest at our Bloomsburg Comfort Suites. This Laundry role is vital to maintaining our high cleanliness standards and overall guest experience. Duties include;

• Loading and opering washers and dryers
• Folding and stacking linens
• Organizing and stocking shelves
• Handling laundry chemical products and keeping inventory
• Pre-sorting linen - locating stained or torn linen
• Assisting Housekeepers in other areas
• Kneel, squat, bend and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Prompt reporting to work shift
• Take pride in a job well done
• Weekend and holidays a must This role is vital to maintaining our high cleanliness standards and overall guest experience.

Houseperson Duties include:

Collecting trash Clean public and employee restrooms, windows, doors and mop floors Vacuuming and dusting. Restock closets Clean fitness center, swimming pool area, public laundry room and other areas of the hotel Inspect and look for safety hazards Assist in other departments as needed Kneel, squat, bend and stand for extended periods of time. Able to lift 50lbs. Prompt reporting to work shift. Time keeping, light paperwork and some computer training. Detail oriented. Takes pride in a job well done. Successfully completes Choice University training in first 30 days. Some light curb appeal duties Weekends and Holidays a must.
