Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and customer satisfaction will shine! In this vital role, you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, sanitized, and inviting, creating a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations. Weekends are required Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure top hygiene standards. Handle various cleaning tasks in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and conference spaces to maintain cleanliness and safety. Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely. Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning and sanitation while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines to prevent hazards. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper techniques to ensure safety. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures, including inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Respond professionally to guest requests for additional amenities or cleaning services, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Comply with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Experience Proven custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred. Previous hotel housekeeping experience demonstrating knowledge of sanitation standards and floor care techniques. Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation and chemical handling procedures is highly desirable. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail. Strong understanding of hospitality standards combined with excellent customer service skills ensures guest satisfaction. Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical agents, SDS documentation, and emergency protocols enhances workplace safety.
