Hotel Housekeeping

Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of cleanliness, comfort, and safety for all guests. This role is essential in providing an exceptional hospitality experience and supporting the smooth operation of our hotel. Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Must be availabe to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies Perform floor care duties such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine environment Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties Adhere to hotel policies regarding safety, security, and confidentiality Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by management Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred; hotel experience or housekeeping management background is a plus Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning methods Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality service Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong organizational skills and reliability in maintaining cleanliness standards Previous custodial or housekeeper experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming guest environment through diligent cleaning and maintenance.
