Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly. Handle cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols. Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or cleaning large areas, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Document cleaning activities and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management for prompt resolution. Provide excellent customer service by responding politely to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation standards. Skilled in floor care techniques including floor cleaning, chemical handling, and industrial cleaning methods. Proficient in using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and scrubbers. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and custodial procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking.
