Cleaning Team Member King Mansion Events | Harrisburg, Pennsylvania King Mansion Events is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaning Team Member to help maintain the beauty, cleanliness, and presentation of our historic event venue and overnight accommodations. This position plays an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for our wedding couples, event hosts, guests, and vendors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, notices the little details, and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Because our schedule is based around weddings, private events, and guest stays, availability must include evenings (post event), weekends, and holidays. Hourly compensation starts at $20 per hour, with the opportunity for a higher starting rate based on relevant experience and qualifications. Responsibilities  Clean and prepare event spaces before and after weddings and private events  Clean guest suites, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and staff spaces  Make beds and prepare overnight accommodations for arriving guests  Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, and remove trash  Clean mirrors, windows, fixtures, furniture, and other venue surfaces  Restock paper products, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities  Complete detailed cleaning checklists according to King Mansion standards  Identify and report maintenance concerns, damage, missing items, or supply needs  Properly use and store cleaning products and equipment  Assist with laundry, linens, and light venue setup as needed  Respond promptly and professionally to time-sensitive cleaning needs during events  Help ensure the property remains polished, welcoming, and guest-ready at all times Qualifications  Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, or venue experience is preferred, but not required  Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards  Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision  Positive attitude and professional appearance  Ability to follow instructions, checklists, and safety procedures  Comfortable working efficiently within scheduled turnaround times  Respectful of guest privacy and confidential event information  Reliable transportation to and from King Mansion (Harrisburg, PA) Physical Requirements  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods  Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive movements  Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, such as lounge furniture within the venue.  Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment, including an in-house floor scrubber, and use cleaning products, which includes laundry. Schedule This is a part-time, event-based position, hiring for our in-season which would require twenty (20) hours per week. Hours will vary depending on the wedding, event, and overnight guest schedule. Current shift includes nights, 10:00 PM EST - 2:00 AM EST, primarily weekends and occasional holidays.
