Executive Housekeeping Manager Major Function:
Responsible for the proper cleaning of rooms, halls, offices, and all public spaces; light maintenance duties and servicing guest needs.
Essential Functions:
Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times. Clean and inspect all public areas to ensure cleanliness standards have are met and that all areas are guest ready. Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and soiled linens. Deliver linens and necessary supplies to room attendants. Collect trash throughout the hotel including: room attendant's carts, vending areas, offices, trash receptacles, and restrooms. Respond to guest requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, cots, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner. Shampoo carpet, strip and wax VCT floors, and steam clean ceramic tile throughout hotel on a regular basis. Assists guests with front door and in unloading baggage from vehicles. Assist in other minor maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, replacing light bulbs, checking pool chemicals, plunging toilets, changes batteries, etc. Assist housekeeping and laundry operations as needed. Assists with snow and ice removal as necessary. The ability to communicate with our guests in English is necessary to give them the service level expected. Ensures meeting room is set-up, clean and ready for guest use. Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds; push and pull 100 pounds. Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the standards of appearance. Practice safety standards at all times and be alert to hazardous conditions. Report or correct any hazardous conditions immediately. Must be thoroughly familiar with Associate Handbook. Associate must adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Associate Handbook. Other duties as assigned, of which the associate is capable of performing.
