Housekeeping Aide:
Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices. Clean assigned areas, including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices. Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized, and orderly condition. Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures. Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned. Clean the inside of the resident room windows, door panels, and window sills. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas. Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored. Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance. Qualifications forHousekeeping Aide:
Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
