Job Summary:

Performs maintenance and housekeeping of buildings and grounds and general maintenance to equipment and machinery as assigned. Receives supervision from Supervisor.

Primary Functions:

Performs general and routine repairs and preventive maintenance to buildings and grounds as required including housekeeping and custodial duties; repairs to buildings and related facilities or areas. Performs, as directed, general and routine repairs and preventive maintenance to shop equipment and machinery such as oiling, greasing, making minor adjustments, and other similar related duties. Maintaining clean factory, storage areas, offices. Floor mopping, dusting, organizing cabinets, keep garbage and bin storage areas clean and organized. Keep debris picked up around outside of the facility. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required alternatively, assigned by supervisor. This will include assisting with maintenance or helping with production from time to time. Maintain supplies for cleaning. Keep cleaning supplies organized and stored properly. As assigned, assists other Maintenance personnel to perform more complicated repairs and maintenance to equipment and machinery. Performs janitorial duties as required. Works under general supervision while performing general and routine work. Performs miscellaneous related tasks as assigned such as handling and moving materials, equipment, machinery and supplies. Maintains records required for job. Maintains assigned work area in clean and orderly condition. Notifies supervisor of any unusual situations requiring attention. Performs work in a safe manner and observes all safety rules and practices. Performs other related work as required and/or assigned. Minimum Education Level High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED)
