Immediately Job Description This is a part time position during the school year, 180 days per year, 8 hours per day. Hours are 11:00 a.m.•7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Vacuum/sweep, mop and dust entrance ways, steps, office, lockers, commons area, serving area, kitchen and hallways; empty and take out trash•clean cans as needed; check and clean restrooms, pick up tables and put away, wash walls as needed, snow removal and salt steps as needed, traffic control and cafeteria.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalency. Ability to read basic operating instructions. Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of the task assigned. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate or acceptable.

JOB GOAL

To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

General maintenance of school grounds. Assists in snow removal. Participates in the general cleaning and maintenance of the school building. Assumes responsibility for the general security of the building. Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building. Performs other reasonable duties as are assigned by the Building Manager for the well being of the school district.
