As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across residential or commercial spaces, ensuring comfort and safety for everyone. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct detailed floor care routines such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying treatments to preserve flooring quality. Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas regularly. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests or special cleaning needs from residents or guests. Maintain cleanliness of appliances and fixtures such as ovens, refrigerators, sinks, and toilets to uphold hygiene standards. Experience Prior experience in residential cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or custodial work enhances your ability to excel in this role. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and maintenance is preferred. Experience with laundry operations and sanitation protocols ensures efficiency and hygiene compliance. Previous janitorial or housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in supervisory responsibilities. Demonstrated customer service skills that foster positive interactions with residents or guests are essential. Certification or training in cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, or related fields can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
