Broadway Manor Personal Care Home - Milton, PA Broadway Manor is a 49-bed Personal Care Home serving residents with mental health needs in Milton, PA. We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and structured environment that promotes dignity and quality of life for every resident. We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated, and detail-driven Housekeeper who takes pride in their work and can perform daily responsibilities independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. We are seeking someone who treats this building with the same care and respect they would give their own home. The right candidate sees what needs to be done, takes initiative, and ensures every task is completed properly without needing to be directed at every step. Position Summary The Housekeeper plays a critical role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of the building in accordance with Broadway Manor's Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures This position requires consistency, efficiency, and accountability. The ideal candidate understands that a clean facility directly impacts resident health, safety, and overall quality of life. Core Responsibilities Daily cleaning responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Facility Cleaning Clean and sanitize all bathrooms (multiple floors) Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the building Clean resident rooms (trash removal, floors, surface cleaning, odor control) Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces Maintain kitchen and dining areas, including sanitizing food-contact surfaces Clean hallways, stairwells, entryways, and common areas Maintain laundry room cleanliness, including behind equipment Maintain smoking area and entrance areas General Duties Empty and clean trash receptacles Disinfect railings, door handles, and fixtures Make beds and change linens as needed Keep housekeeping cart stocked and organized Complete supply lists as scheduled Report maintenance concerns, hazards, or safety issues promptly Follow all chemical use and safety guidelines Maintain organized storage areas Expectations Ability to work independently without constant direction Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to prioritize tasks in an 8-hour shift Consistent adherence to cleaning and safety protocols Professional, courteous interaction with residents and staff Reliability and punctuality are essential Pride in maintaining a clean, orderly environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shift Ability to complete routine tasks despite interruptions Successful completion of criminal background check (required) Must be able to commute to Milton, PA Benefits 401(k) Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Full-Time, 8-hour Day Shift If you are dependable, motivated, and take pride in doing the job right the first time, we encourage you to apply and become part of a team that values cleanliness, structure, and professionalism.
