Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Clean floors using specialized floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and polishing hard surfaces to maintain their appearance. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies while adhering to safety protocols for proper manual handling. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces when required, including sweeping walkways or patio areas. Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working order. Follow detailed cleaning schedules and manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly without compromising quality. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, including kitchen counters, bathroom fixtures, windows, and appliances. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day. Ability to work outdoors when necessary and handle outdoor cleaning tasks confidently. Customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients or residents. Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and floor care methods is advantageous. Previous janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or facility management is a plus. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and manual labor for extended periods.
