Housekeeper

Concordia of Franklin Park is seeking a full time daylight housekeeper! Come work with the best! The full-time Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of the facility and the facilities laundry. Flexible schedule with start times ranging from 7am to 9am.

Qualifications of the housekeeper:

Caring, compassionate, and understanding High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Housekeeping experience is preferable. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the housekeeper Performs general housekeeping duties such as: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying waste containers, cleaning and sanitizing, and dusting in common areas, hallways, rest rooms and resident rooms, deep cleaning all vacated rooms to prepare for the next resident, washing windows, replenishing supplies, scrubbing/polishing floors and carpets. Laundry including resident laundry and facility laundry. Handles, mixes, stores, and disposes of chemicals safely and properly. Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition. Moves furniture, such as beds, dressers, etc. from one room to another as needed with assistance. Assists with special projects as requested such as stripping and re-finishing floors, carpet shampooing, wall washing, etc. Earn an additional $1.50 an hour if waiving medical benefits. EOE Benefits and Wages may vary based on facility location. Minimum hours worked per week/status may be required for certain benefit eligibility.
