Guest Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and common areas within our establishment. This position is essential in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, reflecting our commitment to high standards of service in the hotel industry. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless. Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards. Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly. Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition. Adhere to established cleaning procedures and safety protocols at all times. Assist with the cleaning of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and stairwells as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Requirements Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude with strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
