Job Title:
Housekeeping Room Inspector Department:
Housekeeping Reports to: Director of Housekeeping The Housekeeping Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet Camelback Resort's cleanliness and presentation standards. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by conducting detailed inspections, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the housekeeping team in maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Smile and create a welcoming environment for guests and team members Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to resort standards Verify all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and presented Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Ensure rooms are guest-ready and released in a timely manner Communicate inspection results clearly with Room Attendants and leadership Support housekeeping team members by providing feedback and guidance to uphold quality standards Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas as needed Monitor and uphold sanitation and safety procedures Communicate effectively with other departments to support guest needs Report any guest concerns or issues to management promptly Other duties as assigned Is this the job for me: Must be at least 18 years of age or older HS Diploma or equivalent required Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computers and operational systems Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays Commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of guests Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages a plus Reliable transportation
