Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented part time housekeeper to join the team at our unique, book-themed boutique hotel. We have two locations - one in West Chester and one in Kennett Square - this role is primarily for the West Chester property, but we may need your assistance at our Kennett Square location occasionally. Our West Chester property features 7 rooms (2 king suites and 5 queen rooms), and we pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming, and impeccably clean experience for every guest.
Schedule:
3-4 days per week (based on occupancy) Working hours: 11:00 AM - 3:00
PM Weekends Responsibilities:
Clean and refresh guest rooms Make beds and ensure rooms are guest-ready Vacuum, dust, and sanitize all surfaces Perform light daily cleanings and occasional deep cleaning projects Take out all trash Ensure all coffee bar items and amenities are well stocked Clean up breakfast Thursday-Sunday Help maintain cleanliness in common areas Assist guests with basic requests as needed (possibly assisting with luggage, providing extra towels, etc.) Stay on top of cleaning supply needs and inform management Follow hotel cleanliness and safety standards
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Ability to work independently and efficiently Comfortable interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner Must have reliable transportation Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending If you enjoy working in a unique environment and take pride in keeping spaces spotless and welcoming, we'd love to hear from you!
