New York Yacht Club-Harbour Court seeks qualified candidates for our housekeeping team. This individual will gain hands-on experience in a world-class yacht club featuring 20 hotel rooms and 8 apartments. The individual will gain experience in the hotel side of housekeeping working with a diverse team. You can expect full-time hours with shifts ranging from morning to evening shifts.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Laundry, ironing, folding and basic cleaning of all rooms
• Cleaning, vacuuming and dusting all common spaces including trash removal
• Be on radio throughout shift for any guest needs
• Checking all areas of property including: main house, carriage house apartments, waterfront building, sailing office and more
• Working with a diverse team to execute great teamwork

Qualifications:

• Housekeeping experience desired, but not necessary
• Strong communication skills
• Great attitude and able to work in a diverse team
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Great attitude NYYC provides 2 meals a days and uniforms.

We will provide training to give all staff the tools they need to succeed.
