Job Overview:
We are seeking two reliable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team at Hideout Hotels in Bloomington Springs, TN. This is a part-time position, engaged as a 1099 independent contractor, responsible for maintaining impeccable cleanliness across our guest units, shared amenities, grounds, and office space. You will work closely with our General Manager to maintain a great guest experience throughout the property. Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role, including hot tub upkeep, so prior experience with every listed duty is not required.

$20-$25/hour, based on experience
Hours:
Part-time, approximately 10-20 hours per week, varying seasonally with occupancy and how many contractors are hired (up to 30 hours if only one is hired) Typical working hours are 10am-4pm Sunday availability is required and is non-negotiable; Saturday availability is not required Overall schedule is set based on the property's cleaning/turnover schedule with the majority of cleans taking place on
Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday Responsibilities:
The Contractor shall perform the following duties and responsibilities: a)
Guest Unit Turnover Cleaning:
Clean and prepare guest cabins/units between stays, including bathrooms, kitchens, linens, and common areas, to meet Hideout Hotels' cleanliness standards. b)
Laundry:
Wash, dry, fold, and restock linens and towels for guest units, and manage laundry for the on-site office to maintain a clean, professional workspace. c)
Amenities & Grounds Upkeep:
Clean and maintain shared amenities and outdoor spaces, including the wellness area, sports court, firepits, outdoor kitchen, and putting green, keeping them guest-ready. d)
Hot Tub Maintenance:
Maintain hot tubs in accordance with training provided, including cleaning and routine upkeep. e)
Inventory & Supplies:
Monitor cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and flag low stock to management. f)
Quality Inspections:
Inspect completed cleaning work to confirm it meets property standards before guest arrival. g)
Reporting Issues:
Promptly report maintenance needs, damage, or safety hazards to management. h)
Health & Safety:
Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, hazardous materials, and sanitation guidelines. i)
Communication:
Work closely with the General Manager and other staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and turnover timing around guest check-in/check-out.
Qualifications:
Experience as a housekeeper in a hotel, short-term rental, or resort environment preferred. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including grounds and amenity upkeep. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently. Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods, including outdoor work. Effective verbal communication skills.
