Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property. Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist with common area upkeep when needed, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the hotel environment. Maintain detailed records of completed cleaning tasks and supplies used for accountability and inventory management. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet extraction. Familiarity with hotel operations and standards for guest room maintenance. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety procedures. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively. Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
