9 Chattanooga, TN Job Details $13 an hour 23 hours ago Full Job Description Are you interested in keeping our North River (Hixson) YMCA neat and tidy, to ensure the comfort and safety of others? As a Housekeeper, and an important member of our team, you will perform all of the day-to-day cleaning services. This part-time position is for a MALE Housekeeper to work in our men's locker room on weekday nights and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITES
Ensure the cleanliness of the facility by completing the daily checklist Perform duties such as wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care and snow removal, and other general cleaning Record and report repairs as needed and report hazardous conditions to supervisor Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Related experience preferred Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents, and document work as needed
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties of job Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to work with cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms Ability to work in conditions that will create dirt and dust Must be detail oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracy Ability to perform duties which may include: semi
  • reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; carrying, working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or back
