Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain a spotless environment Manually lift and move furniture or heavy items as needed for thorough cleaning or maintenance tasks Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort at all times Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Maintain cleanliness standards by inspecting work areas regularly and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment, floor cleaning techniques, and sanitation practices Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management procedures and customer service principles Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards Experience with hotel emergency procedures and understanding of safety data sheets (SDS) is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking Demonstrated commitment to hospitality excellence with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction

Pay:

$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
