Responsibilities Include:

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and maintain assigned areas Perform resident room and discharge cleaning according to facility standards Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area Restock housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies Follow assigned cleaning schedules and complete special cleaning projects as needed Safely operate housekeeping and commercial laundry equipment Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our residents What We're Looking For Previous housekeeping, laundry, hotel, hospitality, janitorial, custodial, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required Commercial laundry experience is a plus Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents Make a Difference Behind the Scenes At Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center , every team member plays an important role in resident care.
