Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks in hospitality settings, including hotels and other facilities, where maintaining a pristine environment is essential for guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions. Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and readily available. Execute floor care responsibilities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Collaborate with the hospitality team to provide exceptional service to guests and address any specific cleaning requests or concerns. Follow safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Maintain an organized work area and adhere to established schedules for cleaning tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and best practices. Familiarity with hospitality standards within hotel environments is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and staff members. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
