Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring a high standard of comfort and hygiene. Your proactive approach will contribute to an exceptional guest experience and uphold the reputation of our hotel. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and surface sanitation to meet cleanliness standards. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces through regular cleaning routines. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and ensure proper manual handling of heavy lifting tasks safely. Communicate effectively with guests regarding their needs or special requests to enhance customer service experience. Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning equipment use and outdoor work environments. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning, and floor care methods. Familiarity with cleaning equipment, janitorial tools, and sanitation procedures. Ability to implement cleaning and sanitation procedures adhering to health standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts. Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for client interaction. Physical ability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work requirements.
