Job Description
At The Wayback, the guest experience lives in the details — and nowhere is that more true than in the rooms. As a Room Attendant, you are an essential part of what makes a stay here feel special — ensuring every space is spotless, inviting, and ready to wow the next guest who walks through the door. This is a role for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a pride in their work, and an understanding that a perfectly turned room is its own kind of hospitality. What You'll Do Room Care & Standards Clean and service guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring each space is fresh, inviting, and fully stocked for incoming guests Follow all AATMOS housekeeping departmental standards, policies, and procedures on every shift Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and communicate needs to the appropriate team members Report any room issues, damages, or maintenance needs promptly to the appropriate department for immediate resolution Follow all safety and sanitation policies at all times Guest Experience & Team Support Respond promptly and professionally to guest special requests for miscellaneous items Attend morning huddles and stay current on daily priorities, room assignments, and property updates Assist other departments when needed to ensure seamless service across the property Maintain a friendly, professional presence in all guest and team member interactions What We're Looking For Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1 year of housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred but not required Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistently high-quality work Reliable, professional demeanor with a warm, guest-focused attitude Physical & Schedule Requirements Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs throughout each shift Benefits & Perks Medical insurance Discounted vision and dental insurance Employee hotel travel program with discounted rooms across the AATMOS portfolio Marriott employee travel program Paid time off, vacation pay, and sick pay ZayZoon daily pay — access your earned wages when you need them Opportunities for career growth within a growing hospitality group At AATMOS, we're committed to a positive, inclusive workplace where passionate hospitality professionals can thrive and grow.
