Responsibilities Assist with cleaning and maintaining public areas, hallways, and service corridors to uphold high sanitation standards. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools. Manage the proper handling and storage of chemical agents in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols. Support housekeeping staff with heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, linens, and cleaning materials. Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed meticulously to meet health regulations and hotel standards. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness or room supplies with a friendly, customer-focused attitude. Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and sanitation practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous.
