Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a safe environment. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Maintain floor care by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and applying floor polish or treatments as needed. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies safely and effectively. Use specialized cleaning equipment for tasks like carpet cleaning or outdoor work to enhance overall cleanliness. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on work progress, and address any special requests or concerns. Experience Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of janitorial and custodial practices. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, implementing sanitation procedures, and using various cleaning detergents and equipment. Experience in commercial or hotel cleaning environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and outdoor maintenance is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings. Prior experience with laundry services and handling cleaning supplies responsibly is preferred.
