Job Description

Local Aerospace Manufacturing Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tool / Stockroom Attendant to join our logistics and supply chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing products traveling through the stockroom with the appropriate paperwork. This role requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. The Tool / Stockroom Attendant plays a vital part in ensuring timely order fulfillment, accurate stock management, and overall supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities Maintaining an accurate inventory of all materials in conjunction with Production Control Lead Maintaining ERP database of all items issued to or received from Inventory according to procedure Ensuring that paperwork is complete and accurate Forklift Operating - upon qualification Maintaining the tool/stock room and regrind areas in a clean and organized manner Be able to work independently to accomplish tasks required for the smooth flow of product Must follow safety procedures Any other duties as assigned by Planning Manager Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED Must be able to read and follow instructions Must have average or better computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Must be able to work in a team environment Prior experience in a manufacturing facility in inventory control and/or purchasing Organizational skills Familiarity with warehouse ERP systems like AS400, Sage or SAP. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments including purchasing, merchandising, logistics, and suppliers. Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting models, and supply chain analytics is a plus. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to efficient supply chain operations.
