In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all laundry items, including linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing. Your dedication will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your skills in laundry operations, cleaning procedures, and hotel housekeeping standards in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established standards. Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special items requiring specific treatment. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning and dry cleaning. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low. Support overall housekeeping efforts by ensuring laundry-related tasks are completed promptly to meet guest satisfaction. Experience Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed.
