Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh environment. Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces with proper chemical handling techniques. Conduct window cleaning and pressure washing of exterior surfaces as needed to maintain overall property appearance. Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and elevators using appropriate cleaning equipment and floor care techniques. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all cleaning tasks to ensure safety and infection control standards are met. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or furniture moving while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Follow strict sanitation and infection control procedures to uphold health standards across all areas of the property. Operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, pressure washers, and chemical sprayers. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings. Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as floor care, window cleaning, and pressure washing is advantageous. Experience with laundry services and handling cleaning chemicals safely is highly desirable. Knowledge of infection control practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper body mechanics. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests when needed.
