Houseman/House Attendant

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Restock amenities and supplies, such as toiletries and towels, in guest rooms.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including vacuums and mops.
• Conduct floor care and deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel's public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restaurants.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless operations and a welcoming environment for our guests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping.

Experience:

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field is required.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management software and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and equipment.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

Skills:

• Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong custodial and cleaning skills.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent hospitality skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Experience with housekeeping management systems and processes.
• Proficiency in cleaning and maintaining floors and surfaces.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and guidelines.
