Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team and ensure our facilities remain pristine, welcoming, and comfortable for all guests and residents. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various areas, including guest rooms, common spaces, and outdoor environments. Your proactive approach to cleaning, organization, and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential spaces, and public areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Conduct floor care activities such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining surface cleanliness to ensure safety and appearance. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly. Assist with outdoor work responsibilities like trash removal, patio cleaning, and landscaping support when needed. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, cleaning supplies, or equipment safely and effectively. Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues promptly, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident inquiries courteously and efficiently. Follow safety protocols during janitorial activities to prevent accidents or injuries during heavy lifting or outdoor work. Experience Candidates should bring prior custodial or janitorial experience with a strong background in residential or commercial cleaning environments. Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance will be advantageous. Proven skills in laundry operations and sanitation practices are essential for success in this role. Additionally, candidates with outdoor work experience or knowledge of outdoor maintenance tasks will excel in supporting our diverse cleaning needs. Strong time management skills are vital to efficiently complete daily duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
