Full Job Description Days Inn in Del Rio, Texas is looking for house keeping associates. This individual must be sincere, dependent and hard working. A true desire to serve and take care of our guest. Hotel experience preferred but not required for the right individual. We need a team member who can add to our team and make us even better. This position will be a day time job only. Unless absolutely necessary in some rare occasions because of specific guest necessities. Replenish guest rooms and baths with amenities, supplies, and linen and terry in accordance with Company standards Inspect rooms for repairs or fixtures while cleaning that are not working properly; replace batteries, light bulbs, etc. Report requests for repairs to maintenance department in accordance with hotel procedures. Must be familiar with cleaning products and cleaning techniques. Must be able to work independently and follow instructions regarding priorities of tasks Must be able to lift 25 - 50 lbs. Must be able to spend the majority of the shift walking, twisting, bending. pushing/pulling and kneeling while cleaning. Strong attention to detailed cleaning is required. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Must be available any day of the week especially weekends and holidays. Day time job only unless absolutely necessary because of guests' needs. (between 9am to 5 pm). Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment. Report any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to supervisor and turn in any articles left in room. Must be able to complete the assigned job in the stipulated company standard time.
