In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a spotless environment. Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting surfaces, cleaning fixtures, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Use appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and floor care tools to maintain cleanliness standards. Conduct window cleaning and surface sanitation to enhance the appearance and hygiene of guest areas. Maintain safety protocols by properly handling chemicals and using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities. Assist with custodial tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, pressure washing exterior surfaces, and ensuring infection control measures are followed rigorously. Qualifications Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, sanitation procedures, and chemical handling. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting. Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and other janitorial tools. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Understanding of infection control practices to ensure a hygienic environment for all guests and staff.
