Team Lead Housekeeping

Holiday Inn Express Georgetown is an IHG property committed to providing the ultimate guest experience. We are seeking an outgoing and energetic head housekeeper. As head housekeeper, you will assist in scheduling and room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage and with training of employees and ensuring that they have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties. The Head Housekeeper/Housekeeping Director inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishing, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction and will routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds, and vacuuming and cleaning suites to ensure guest satisfaction. This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 200 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling.
