Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and organizing. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and storing linens and towels according to hotel standards. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate departments for swift resolution. Adhere to all health regulations and hygiene standards to promote a clean and safe environment for guests and staff alike. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus. Experience with cleaning techniques including floor care—such as carpet shampooing, waxing floors, and polishing surfaces—is advantageous. Knowledge of janitorial equipment operation and industrial cleaning methods enhances efficiency in the role. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards is essential.
