At least one Saturday per month (with a weekday off during that week) Position Summary We are seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented Office Porter / Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in cleanliness, organization, and maintaining a polished professional environment. This role is ideal for someone who naturally notices the small details others overlook—dust on baseboards, fingerprints on glass, cluttered storage areas, or supplies that need organizing. Our ideal candidate enjoys cleaning, thrives on organization, and finds satisfaction in creating a spotless environment. We are looking for someone who can maintain a high level of productivity, attention to detail, and consistency throughout a full 8-hour workday.
Please note:
This position requires availability to work 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on a consistent basis . Applicants should be comfortable working a full shift during these hours. Key Responsibilities Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout offices, exam rooms, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect all assigned areas to a high standard Clean and polish glass, mirrors, doors, and interior windows Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly Restock restroom, kitchen, and office supplies before they become depleted Organize storage areas, cabinets, and supply rooms to ensure a neat and orderly appearance Identify and address overlooked cleaning needs without direct supervision Perform routine deep-cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishment Report maintenance concerns, repairs, or safety hazards promptly Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control protocols Qualifications Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Self-motivated and capable of working independently Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain systems and routines Dependable, punctual, and able to remain productive during a full 8-hour shift Reliable transportation required Ability to lift 25-40 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods Professional appearance and positive attitude The Ideal Candidate This position is best suited for someone who: Notices details that others miss Takes pride in keeping spaces spotless and organized Enjoys cleaning, organizing, and maintaining order Holds themselves to high standards without constant supervision Can stay focused, efficient, and productive throughout an entire shift Understands that cleanliness directly impacts patient experience and workplace professionalism What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, year-round employment Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to work in a respected medical practice If you are someone who believes "clean" means more than simply looking tidy and takes pride in maintaining an exceptionally organized and immaculate environment, we would love to hear from you.
