Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a hygienic environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support overall hotel operations. Conduct floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, and deep cleaning of various flooring types to uphold safety and aesthetic standards. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities in guest rooms and public spaces to enhance guest comfort. Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly for swift resolution. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care methods like stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors. Familiarity with janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, extractors, and steam cleaners. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
