Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to sanitation and customer service, with an emphasis on high standards of cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the facility. Ensure that all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues to management. Execute floor care duties such as carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and other specialized cleaning tasks as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly and courteously. Assist in laundry services when required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Collaborate with housekeeping management to develop efficient cleaning schedules and protocols. Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
