The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including hotels, residential properties, and commercial spaces. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional cleaning services. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas in hotels or residential properties. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to ensure all surfaces are clean and well-maintained. Sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, ensuring all fixtures are spotless and hygienic. Launder linens and towels according to established protocols, ensuring fresh supplies are available for guests or residents. Execute custodial duties including trash removal, dusting surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any maintenance issues or supply needs. Requirements Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes. A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
