Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential, hospitality, or healthcare environments. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established protocols for cleaning in various environments such as hotels or hospitals. Assist with floor care maintenance including stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when necessary. Skills Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices within hospitality settings is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization. Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely. Good communication skills for interacting with team members and guests. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
