Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools. Follow safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical handling procedures to maintain a safe workspace for yourself and colleagues. Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness standards by executing industrial cleaning techniques when necessary for deep cleaning or sanitation purposes. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, exemplifying excellent customer service in the hospitality environment. Adhere strictly to hotel housekeeping management policies, emergency procedures, and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services with knowledge of janitorial practices and industrial cleaning techniques. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing cleaning tasks; knowledge of safety data sheets (SDS) is preferred. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, or other janitorial tools is highly desirable.
