Housekeeper/Laundry Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens.
• Launder and fold linens, towels, and other items as needed.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as required.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stocked and maintained.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to provide a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Skills:

• Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles.
• Knowledge of laundry procedures and techniques.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
